Toto is a seasoned R&B vocalist with a background deeply rooted in gospel music,

Toto started singing at the early age of 5 in a Southern Baptist Church in Whitehouse,

Texas. He participated in his junior high and high

school band mastering a mix of instruments enhancing his musical abilities to

its peak. In his early years, he performed in numerous talent shows, high school proms,

and opening ceremonies of graduations and football games. He also sang in several gospel

groups throughout the years as well as the church choir. After high school, Toto served his

country in the US Air Force where he continued to use his musical talents by playing alongside

his fellow airmen in the Drum and Bugle Corps. After leaving the military at the age of 26,

Toto was encouraged by his sister, the late Andretta Tillman, former manager of Destiny Child,

to pursue the idea of music as a career. At this time the group TAYSTE, as mentioned in the

new release J. Randy Taraborelli Becoming Beyonce, was formed and worked

side by side with my sister’s group, Destiny Child, under Music World Management.

In the mid-1990s Toto worked as an engineer for Texas Music Master Studio and a producer

and engineer for Rose Capital Records., In 2000, Toto produced music and background hooks

for various rap artists. Today he continues to sing and produce music, now it’s all about living life to its fullest.
